Excellence is not a merely a virtue. It is a spiritual positioning, a mindset and for us, it has become a strategy.

Many people have been weighed down by the wiles of mediocrity. It seems that the prevalent mindset in our environment is to simply work hard whether or not you know where you're going. One major fruit of excellence is the ability to produce applicative solutions that answer life's tough and very real questions.

Digital Marketing and Content Creation: Automate your emails on Mailchimp. Continue uploading content according to the content calendar and the social media strategy. Complete work on the end-to-end marketing plan for your startup, to launch full scale in 2 weeks! Pay attention to details. Work on a Proposal for Investors.

  1. The automation is being perfected. Several YouTube videos came into play to ensure that the work got done.
  2. Content has been being uploaded on schedule. Here's a good place to celebrate our wins. A recent post we made on LinkedIn is literally on fire🔥. It's getting viewed by influential people in Africa as well as Asia and Europe just to say the least. This post garnered over 2,000 impressions in less than two hours which is a pretty big deal. This is coming from a place where the best performing post had over 300 impressions over many weeks. To celebrate with us, you can view this killer post here. Like, comment and follow too.

  1. We finally started on this after our mentor, @PeculiarRichards put us in the right direction. We're making some good progress here too and really paying those details some well deserved attention. One major challenge is gathering data and putting our brilliant content ideas into marketable products but it's coming together by God's grace.
  2. I've never written a proposal of any kind before now. I can't say it's ready but it's something. Thank you to all who are helping me out.

Graphic Design: Design infographic flyers according to content provided by the digital marketing team, for social media. Work on launch flyers.

  1. We designed three flyers for the Content Team as described by the sub-team Lead. We didn't rest till she was satisfied and trust me, it took some stretching but it came out beautiful.
  2. We're still working with the Content Team on bringing our ideas together and we trust God for wisdom to produce a great work.

Product Design (UI/UX): Work with the Developers to ensure 100% compliance with the design. Improve the design where necessary.

  1. We adjusted the landing page, onboarding page, login and sign up screens as needed.
  2. We also developed the screens for the user dashboard where they can access their Feeds, Community, Homepage, etc. image.png

Product Management: Create a launch plan/timeline for your product. Manage and monitor the task management dashboard, and update tasks across all sub-teams. PM Team lead should take reports from PMs assigned to each sub-team. Daily stand-ups should continue. Strongly note that you are to deliver an MVP for launching in 2 weeks.

  1. We monitored progress across sub-teams and updated the task management dashboard.
  2. We also sent a YouTube video link on how to use JIRA to the sub-team Leads to aid their understanding. This was based on a recommendation that one of them gave.

Video Animation: Create a launch video. Work with the content team and create a story streamlined with your product. Work in compliance to the brand guide in terms of colors, fonts, etc.

  1. It's been an interesting week. I returned from the vacation as I was tired of the rest. Reached out to the Content Team Lead to figure out what to do and she had several ideas. I came up with a story and several content myself. We'll iron it out and land tvis launch well. Thank you.

Quality Assurance: Carry out test cases according to the flow. End-to-end testing of prototype.

  1. We ran test cases for the UI screens as follows: test case id, test scenario, test description, steps to execute, expected result and actual result.

Frontend Development: Complete Implementation of the UI design to 100%. Ensure 100% compliance to design. Implement all feedback from testing by QA and PM.

  1. We are currently implementing the landing page, onboarding page, login and sign up pages according to the UI design while implementing all testing feedback.
  2. We had those different pages allocated to the team members in groups. They have been working on individual aspects of the pages, starting from mobile then going upwards. It's been beautiful seeing WordPress guys coding with html and css. Kudos team!

Data Analytics: Complete work on the reporting dashboard using endpoints from the backend developers. For Teams without (and with) BE - Work on Marketing Campaign Performance Analysis of competitive products in your industry.

  1. We found it quite difficult to get a competitive marketing campaign in our field for analysis. So we went with the maven marketing campaign data which was gotten from Kaggle.

The data shows the amount of customers that purchased products from a company either trough their store, web or catalog. The focus of the analysis was on which campaign strategy was most effective. Our results reveal that the most successful campaign was the 4th campaign which gained most acceptance by customers.

Furthermore, more purchases were made from the store than web or catalog.
